Christine Messerli
Early Childhood Educator
Educational Manager
Passionate about the world of early childhood and qualified since July 2001 as a childhood educator, I have the pleasure of accompanying your children in the play workshop during this 2025-2026 school year.
Over the years, my experience has been enriched by my contact with children, their families and the people I have worked with in the various nurseries where I have worked.
Having always lived in Gruyère, it is an added pleasure to come each week to the beautiful setting offered by the village of Cerniat, to introduce your children to community life and to have wonderful experiences with them.

Mr. Marcos Miranda
IT and website technical manager
Hello! My name is Marcos Miranda, originally from Breves, on the island of Marajó, in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. I have a special connection with the Li-La-Lou Play Group, as I am a childhood friend of the beloved Mrs. Rubia Päiva. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children in various capacities: as a teacher, exploring the world of computers, and also as an entrepreneur in the children's electronics sector. This versatile experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive vision of children's needs and potential. Now, I am very excited to join the Li-La-Lou team to strengthen our online presence. As a father of four wonderful children, I understand the importance of initiatives like this and I look forward to contributing my skills to the creation and maintenance of the website, thus consolidating the success of this inspiring project that I greatly appreciate!

Rubia Päiva
Administrative Manager and Playgroup Facilitator in training
I am delighted to introduce myself to you. I am a mother of three, originally from a small town in northern Brazil, in the state of Pará, on an island called Breves. This is where I completed my studies and where I have wonderful memories.
In 2018, I had the opportunity to work at the AES, a very enriching experience for me. I spent two incredible years there, where I was able to grow professionally and personally.
Later, I decided to work in daycare centers as a childcare assistant, and it was a wonderful experience. Observing children in their innocence and joy has always fascinated me. I often remember funny moments that happened at the daycare center, and these memories make me smile even when I'm alone.
In 2022, I made another important decision by starting training as a playgroup leader. This training will allow me to acquire new skills and further specialize in my field.
Working with children is a true gift from God for me. I discovered that my true calling was to care for them and contribute to their development. Nothing fills me with greater joy than seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that I am making a difference in their lives.
Thank you for allowing me to share a little bit about myself with you. I welcome any questions or any other topics you would like to discuss. I look forward to connecting with you all!
